Update 3/19/2010:
We are moving right along with the project. We got our main location approved this week and are very pleased with your auditions. We are tentatively scheduled to shoot the 3 weekends following Easter (April 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th & 25th). We would need for you to be committed to a full day on the dates you are scheduled for shooting. We will soon have a more specific schedule for each character that will include some or all of the days listed. Please look over your calendars and let me know if you have any conflicts with ANY of these dates.
Again, thank you all for the great auditions.
Update 3/18/2010:
I just wanted to thank everyone for their help and participation in the audition Saturday. We had a good showing and realized some great local talent. We will have a pick-up date for the people that could not attend yesterday, so if you know anyone interested you can tell them to check for updates on www.jonnyhee.com.

Hello all,
We will be holding an open casting for an upcoming film. Production will take place on consecutive weekends from April 3rd, 2010 to April 18th, 2010. The film will be submitted to several choice festivals and is intended for premiere in our local theaters.
This film is written as a drama by a very talented local writer. There are four available roles for men and two for women. Though the project is not-for-profit, the cast/crew will be provided lunch on days of production. That sounds interesting. What are you looking for in the available 4 male roles? I am 40 years-old with a stocky build and a red beard that I might consider shaving if necessary, but I’m no Brad Pitt. I follow instructions well.

Thanks for your interest. The four male roles are an interrogator, interrogatee, assistant, and robber. We would love to have you come in and read. The female parts are for a wife and a cashier (if you know anyone that would be interested).

I would love to be a part of this but I sing with the Mobile Opera and will be in reherasal all day this Saturday. I have plenty of acting experience in commercials, film, theatre, and obviously the opera. There will be a short script that we would have you read. If you have something short prepared, we would certainly let you perform it.
I would to know the ages you have in mind for the female roles.
I would also like to know if you will need any film crew help.
CJ – The two female roles could be played by anyone 18-40. I am much more flexible on the male roles. If anyone would like to be on the crew – they could stop by Saturday so that we can meet and talk about thier skills.
Jon -Hope all is well; Congrats to tif tackling those left-coast artists – hopefully she wont forget the way home once in a while. Glad to see projects continue; hopefully you still get a chance to surf ..My daughter might come out on saturday to pitch in anywhere she can.
